I can't believe that August is almost over! It's been a crazy month, with school starting back up. Paul is at ASU Polytechnic, and I am at home w/ Brightlie. We are excited to see what the upcoming school yr. brings! We can't believe how much fun and joy Brightlie adds to our lives, but daily she amazes us as she learns and grows! My baby is almost 10 months old!!!??? Get ready for a pic overload :)
Brightlie- big blues eyes- pretty as can be!
Sleepy lil princess/ "Sleeping Beauty"
sleeps from 9:30 pm- 7Am, & then right back to sleep after a bottle from 7:10AM- 10Am.
Yep, she is a good sleeper, we are blessed!
She LOVES daddy's laptop-
she gets so sad when we try to keep her away from it :)
She is so stubborn already, and full of independence! When she wants something, she just crawls back over and stands back up to get a closer look and grab!
She is not easily distracted, though we try- smart cookie!
Brightlie & me- best friends!!! We love to go shopping, and B
loves to play with (chew on/ bang on the floor) my high heels :)
Brightlie loves books!
We enjoy reading to her, and she loves looking at the bright pictures!
We are slowly building quite the collection for her little book shelf (as seen in pic)
B's favorite activity is bath time!
She gets so excited the minute she hears the water start running :)
She also now quickly pulls herself up to see the water come out of the faucet,
clinging to the edge of the tub.
She is soooo smart! Our entertainment center has magnetic lil doors/cabinets, that you have to push in, before they'll pop open. Yes, B has already figured out this little trick, and climbs halfway into the small cubby. Her toys now have a new home inside the cubby. :)
B has also discovered the blinds this month!
Yes, these past 2 weeks she has become an explorer, and now gets into everything!!!
Last but not least, she is happy as can be each day w/ her big smile- such a delightful little girl!!!
Oh and she now knows that when it is time to change out of her pjs in the morning, I say "arms up" and she puts her little arms up high, allowing for quick changes to start the day out in fashion. So smart!
Brightlie dear, we love you soooo much!!!
