It's Halloween!

Halloween 2010 was a fun one... not too much exciting really happened since it is sunday, but we had a fun weekend, especially since it is Brightlie's 1st Halloween! She was a ladybug, Paul was a pimp, and I was a cop. We had fun at our ward's 'trunk-or-treat', visiting family to show off our adorable baby girl, and hanging out with friends!

Brightlie's walking!!!

We are so happy! Brightlie took her first steps tonight! 10/11/10

It was so exciting to see her take her first real steps without holding onto everything! First she walked to paul, and then she walked over to me, and we got it on VIDEO!!!! (I have been waiting and anticipating this moment the past few days, and luckily I was prepared with the camera) We love you so much Brightlie! You are getting so big so fast- we are so blessed to have such a sweet, happy little girl in our family! :)

Fall Festal Fun!

The weather has been in the low 90's and the evenings are nice & cool! So, we decided to have some fun on Sat. out at Schnepf Farms!!! Our neighbors/friends, Mike & Leandra Hoffman, joined us for a night out and we had a blast! We ended the night sitting around a bonfire, eating smores, drinking hot chocolate, and laughing at the crazy things that go on in our lives. It was certainly a night of fun that won't be forgotten!

Road rally! This was so fun- pedal driven go-cart type cars,

a bumpy trail, and 3 "grownups" (kids at heart)! We were

ramming into each other and having a blast! But I sure did get a nice

thigh workout- feel the burn!

Oct. is here!

Fall is here!!!!! October is here, and I am so happy! It is officially time for for Fall decorations, and the next few months are my most favorite of the yr.! I love to decorate my house based on the season and Hobby Lobby helps with that! (And it makes my home feels so cozy to me) :)

Daily life is fairly busy, between Paul's school, work, & hw, and me chasing Brightlie, working as my Aunt's receptionist, and managing our home... there is never enough time in the day! But I am excited for fall, and the joy that the upcoming holiday season brings! Which reminds me... it's time to start thinking about Brightlie's Halloween Costume, Brightlie's 1st Birthday, Thanksgiving plans, Black Friday, Christmas activities, the works!!!! I can't wait!
