GIRLS Night Out!!!!!!!

What a great week... although it felt very busy, it was also lots of fun! Child care is going well, and Brightlie loves having friends to play with.  I got to go out to a makeup party that my friend Alissa hosted on Thurs., which meant great food and fun makeup products! Then on Friday night Paul met me at the mall, where I got to go on a small shopping spree- so fun!!!!  Sat. was a mini high school reunion of my closest girl friends, and we all enjoyed meeting each other kids and playing at the park.  In the evening we went to Olive Garden for dinner, & then went back to Tiff's house to talk about life, laugh at you-tube videos, and just have a good time talking about mom-hood and answered the question, "what we wish we'd known in High School". GOOD TIMES!  Lastly, I came home Sat. night to my sweet hubby (who had cleaned the house!) and my sweet baby girl. There are lots of pics.... so get ready!!!!!!!

Brightlie, stylin at the park- bows, shoes, pink & brown- ridiculously cute!

Cute little boy Hudson, who liked B & kept asking her
to slide down the slide with him  :)
Better watch out daddy, Brightlie is already attracting the boys!!!!

hubby's, houses, and babies. :) Life is Good.

Just chillin.... literally!

This week has been pretty simple!  It was nice to celebrate the beginning of the week with my hubby for Valentine's Day, but other than that the week has been fairly relaxing....and chilly!  I love the colder weather though, because it actually feels like winter! Rain and cold temps... but I guess compared to all the sbow the rest of the US is getting, they probably think we are warm!  Well, I like the AZ chill.
Not too much else... I did get released from YW today, but they put me back into
Primary to team teach with my hubby!  We are over the 7-8 yr. olds  :)
Also,  I started babysitting an adorable little girl, Alexandra, who is only 7 weeks old!  She is so precious and Brightlie loves her. That's really about it- here are some pics....

All bundled up!  It's cold & rainy outside!!!!

The beautiful flowers Paul gave me for Valentine's Day

 Brightlie & Alexandra-
she is so sweet, and B adores her.  She loves to come and try to hand her
toys and baby rattles.  She even wanted to try to share her binky with her!  SO glad that Brightlie (in general)
is willing to share  :)  Also, I love holding a newborn! She is so little!
Makes me ALMOST ready for another one.... almost.  :)

At Dana Park shopping plaza- B loved the big fountain!

Hanging out with NANA, Grandma Biggs @ Costa Vida!
Yummy food, good times!

Of course I am biased, but I think Nana's favorite grandchild is Brightlie!

Brightlie loves Peanut butter & Jelly sandwiches!
What a mess!  But oh, what fun!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!

Brightlie felt the love.... dressed in her adorable Valentine outfit,
Cupid brought her a present and balloons!!!
SO CUTE!!!!!  She has stolen our hearts, for sure!

 Playing with her present....

 Don't forget the balloons!
Brightlie LOVES balloons!  She thinks they are so much fun!!!

Date night for Paul and I...although we love Brightlie,
it was great to be able
to spend some time alone just the two of us!
Enjoying dinner @ The CHEESECAKE FACTORY!

My sweet hubby bought be a dozen roses, that
arrived today while he was at school so I could enjoy them
throughout the day!  :)

Valentines is about more than saying "I love you"....
it's about saying "I LOVE US!!!!!"

15 months already!!!!

This past week has been pretty ordinary.... nothing too spectacular, but as Paul often reminds me, it's the daily joys in life where memories are made.  So, while Paul's life consists of school, work, lots of homework, and playing with B, my life revolves around Brightlie, laundry, errands, and trying to start up in-home child care.  Brightlie's life is the most fun, including lots of playing, friends, exploring, more playing, and dancing!  Daily life at the Reidhead's may not be glamorous, but it's reality!  :)

Brightlie and mommy enjoy Saturday mornings
Power Hour shopping!!!  JCPenny's & Khols!

Brightlie playing in her playroom  :)

Happy girl.... little did she know, she
had to go back get blood work done at the doctors...
Poor Brightlie!  They had a hard time finding her vein...
3 pokes later, lots of screaming, and a return to try again the next day,
they finally got her blood.  Bad news- she is allergic to Pineapple.
Good news- no other allergies showed up on the general allergy test!
(negative for dairy, peanuts, citrus in general, and wheat)

Brightlie loves playing in the tub!!!
Bathtime is always fun, as she splashes all around!

Brightlie loves just playing all day and night!

Happy birthday!  15 months old this week!!!!!  :)

We went to Superstition Springs Mall
and Brightlie got to ride the carousel with daddy!  So fun!!!

Such an innocent face... but don't let that fool you...!
No, even though B is still a sweetie, she is starting to throw little fits, which
mommy & daddy don't like... however, she responds well to discipline,
and is quickly learning boundaries.  :)  She has her moments,
but she is still very good, and we love her SOOOO much!

February is here!!!!

I can't believe that is already February, and Valentine's Day is around the corner!  The weather is actually cold this week, which reminded me that is is still winter in AZ.  In our home, this past week has been full of good family times! Brightlie is getting bigger and smarter everyday!  She is 15 months old, and her personality and independence shines through each day.
Delicious dinners at our home.... YUMMY!!!!

Brightlie's favorite game is hide & seek with her blanket  :)

Aunt Dawn came in town from UT this weekend!  It was great
to see her and spend some time with her!  We spent Sat. afternoon at my cousin Jenny's home
and we had a bbq and just enjoyed chatting with everyone!
Paul & Brightlie on the hammock
Me & Jenny!  My fav cousin & one of my best friends!
B loved all the good food and enjoyed playing with Kaden & Carson.

Sat. night my good friend Kelly Hathcock (Adams) came over and
we got to spend time with her, her hubby, and their new baby Brielle!
 Kelly & Payne!
Brightlie loves babies we found out!!!!
The whole night all she wanted to do was touch little Brielle.

THEN,
Sat. Night we also went over to to our neighbors for a bonfire
and smores! (about 9:30pm)  It was fun-
we enjoy having  fun conversations & good laughs
our neighbors  :)
Above is Dave & Shannon...
This is Mike & LeeAndra- LeeAndra is my
good friend, and it is always good to be around her funny, happy personality!
 Me & Paul

And the BIG NEWS FOR THE WEEK!!!!!.....
Miss Brightlie is a big girl!  Today (Sunday) she spent her first day at Nursery!  With me in YW and Paul in Primary, we really need an alternative place for Brightlie to be than with one of us.  So, today I got brave and took her to nursery, just to see what would happen.... & she LOVED it!  No crying or nervousness... just a happy girl! And although she is not supposed to be there til May, the
Nursery Leader said Brightlie did so well that she is welcome to come!
I love my little BIG girl- she is getting so big so fast, and although it is a little hard, and am proud that my princess is independent and confident.  Love you Brightlie!!!!!!
