The past several weeks have been busy, stressful, joyful, and crazy! AND it's all because..... i'm pregnant! So here is the scoop-
Paul and I had started praying over the summer about when we should add to our little family. We both felt that the time was right, so on July 18th i visited my Dr. (OBGYN) and was told i was good to go! Paul and i tried not to stress... tried not to think about ovulation dates... (yea right!) and decided to just let it be, and whenever it happened, we would be thrilled. Well, little did i know that a month later i would be pregnant! I had only really told my Mom'sClub friends and Tiffany (of course!) that we were even trying. I was kinda feeling a little sad (lame i know) when i took 2 tests and they were negative. Bummer- try again next month i thought. Then, the next day, i finally decided what the heck, and took one more. When a light double line appeared, i was floored! But, how would i tell Paul? Balloons, fireworks, a grand display at ASU.... so much to plan. Well, that night i talked to Tiff and told her all about my findings- and was thrilled to learn that she too was prego! (Best friends think alike, although we hadn't planned this!) Long story short, i ended up telling Paul, that night, at home, in our living room. Nothing as exciting as i had originally planned, but i just couldn't hold it in! Paul of course was thrilled, and is so excited for this new arrival.
The only bad part to this story is that once again, i am deathly ill. Just like i was with B all 9 months. But, thsi time i have an almost 2 yr. old that needs my attention. It is ridiculously hard. It breaks my heart, because i am so bummed out, constantly throwing up, making visits to the ER, not enjoying food, or life, or anything cuz i'm so sick! Luckily Paul is the best hubby ever and is more than helpful with B, the house chores, caring for me, etc. Well, that is it for now- welcome to our lives Baby Reidhead #2- Brightlie can't wait to have someone to play with! (oh, and ps. i'm currently about 7-8 weeks preggers- crazy!)
