Kisses & hugs, love & patience, hard work & playtime,
diapers & baths, bed time stories, and lots of "I love you"s -
these are just a few reasons why
Paul is such a WONDERFUL Daddy!

So this week has been fun, difficult, scary, and full of unexpected surprises.
Not quite sure how to to describe it except that i'm glad its over... :)
Maybe next week will not be quite so emotional!
*Biggest scare this week- Brightlie had a horrible day on Fri- she barfed in the pool at swim lesson,
came home and tripped, splitting her inner lip and there was tons of blood! I ran across the street to my neighbors for help, and i'm glad now that i didn't call 911 which was my first urge. Finally,
later that day she had a major diarrhea /poop out in my cousin Jenny's pool. POOR GIRL!
Lots of tears shed by both mommy and toddler!
Also....
Austin, Me, Paul....
We said goodbye to Austin (Paul's bro), who will be
Canada for a couple yrs,- we wish him happiness
and luck with his decision, but it's hard to see him go so far away!
I love my Mom's Club- they help me work out and laugh along
the way! (Aqua Zumba- quite hilarious and fun to do!)
Brightlie with her friends at the Mom'sClub
swim party!
This week my cousin Jenny took B and I with her
2 boys to the duck park-i couldn't believe how close they were coming
when B all of a sudden ran right in the middle of them! Good thing
they were tame!
At Costco- oh how my daughter makes me smile!
B got into my purse and when i turned to scold her.... this is what i saw! haha
Here she comes HOLLYWOOD!
Brightlie playing with her new fridge magnets-
yep our home officially SCREAMS that we have children (a child).
I broke down, although i swore i never would get fridge magnets-
good thing B loves them and it entertains her!
Brightlie continues to grow taller and smarter!
This week she was given the task of unloading all her clean clothes from
the dryer into the laundry bucket- and she did it! I
was so surprised and proud!!!! I asked her but really didn't think
she would know what i was talking about, but she did! Smart cookie! I need to
have her help out more, because she was so proud of herself as she did it!
FATHERS DAY 2011
Certainly not what i expected. It's funny, because actually paul and i have been mad, sad and frustrated with each other all day!
Morning: I planned to make Paul breakfast... Banana Pancakes while eating to the Jack Johnson song, "Banana Pancakes". But i woke up at 9am, cuz church starts at 1pm.... well i forgot stake conference was today at 10am... so Paul is wondering why the heck i'm sleeping in and forgot to make him a nice breakfast- so he makes his own( he's hurt). And i'm mad he made his own breakfast (i'm hurt).
Afternoon: based on morning events, conversation seems tense and stressed. Bad Deal. I suggest I make him lunch- which he says he is not really hungry for. More frustration... are we even on the same planet?!
Evening: We are in a hurry to go to Paul's parents house, I honk the horn- paul is upset, i'm upset that he's upset over a silly honking of the horn, and AHHHH! We are just totally not on the same page!!!!
Long story short- we talked it out and all is well. We do love each other and laugh about how so much silly mis-communication and personal hurt leads to more hurt, stress, and bad days like today.
But without a doubt, Paul is a great hubby and a great dad. And today reminded us that this is what life is...
its working together, talking, solving, parenting, praying, and TRYING! :)
Life is good in the Reidhead Home.
And Brightlie couldn't love her daddy more! :)
She's Daddy's Little Girl!
